We had a beautiful and full day that started in Idaho Falls, ID and ended at the Teton Science School Kelly WY campus. The bus ride was about two hours through winding hills, along the Snake River and under snow capped peaks. We arrived at TSS, had lunch, moved in and had our orientation with the instructors here. We then had community time when the students played soccer, football, frisbee and a bit of volleyball. Dinner was at 6 pm (which felt like 3 pm due to the bright daylight). The meal was delicious and everyone had their fill - even our hungriest boys! After dinner we had an evening hike, mapping exercise and and educational activity looking at the culture, ecosystems and economy of this area.
Tomorrow looks to be another beautiful and warmer day.
